Plum Ham Glaze

If you wish, just use 1/4 cup of apple juice and include 1/4 cup of liquid honey – this combination is equally as delicious!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Anathoth Farm Plum Jam
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp whole cloves
  • ham on the bone

METHOD

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine Plum Jam, apple juice, sugar and Dijon mustard together, and simmer for approximately 10 minutes until glaze thickens.
  3. Prepare your ham: Use whole cloves to stud fat diamonds over the surface of the ham, then baste with your plum glaze before and during the cooking process.
