Jams |
| We make our delicious, fruit-laden homestyle jam in the traditional country style……just fruit and sugar, boiled until it sets, creating a delicious, caramelised flavour - exactly like Grandma used to make!
Our customers often ask why each pot of Anathoth Jam isn’t exactly the same thickness. We’re proud to tell you it’s because we don’t use any additives, or any pectin to thicken it. Anathoth jam is preservative, gluten and additive free.
We use New Zealand fruit first and foremost – and you will see on your Anathoth jam pot that we even say which country the fruit comes from. We use fresh Central Otago apricots each season and all our blackcurrants are grown locally around Geraldine. Sometimes we can’t get enough New Zealand fruit - New Zealand has a small raspberry crop, for example. When that happens, we also select high quality raspberries from Chile, Canada or Europe.
