'Clean out the Fridge' Pizza with Chilli

Want to try something different with your leftovers? Try this ‘Clean out the Fridge’ Pizza, using Anathoth Farm NZ Tomato with Chill Pizza sauce. Use anything from bolognese to sausages or roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough for 1 pizza or 1 large pizza base of your choice
  • 1/3 cup Anathoth Farm Pizza Sauce Tomato with Chilli
  • 3 cups Cooked leftovers (bolognese, nacho filling, pasta bakes, sausages, corn fritters, roast veggies etc.)
  • 75g Mozzarella, grated
  • Sauces and condiments of choice
  • Finely chopped parsley, basil or herbs of choice

Method

  1. Preheat oven to its highest temperature (I used 250°C fan-forced), or prepare a pizza oven.
  2. Stretch pizza dough to your desired thickness and place on a pizza stone or tray. Spread evenly with Anathoth Pizza sauce, and scatter over your desired leftovers. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over top.
  3. Bake for 7-10 minutes (watch as it can burn easily), or until pizza base is cooked, cheese is melted and browning spots are visible.
  4. Drizzle over sauces and sprinkle over herbs. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
